Also, Eizouken is constantly met with challenges and obstacles when it comes to making anime. They also face outside threats (the student council) that hinder the club’s productivity and goals.

Eizouken means “motion picture studies” or “video research” in Japanese. This is what Asakusa, Kanamori, and Mizusaki name their club.

They essentially name their club the “film club” after they were told they couldn’t name it the anime club since one already existed.
