There are alot of isekai anime out there with an overpowered (OP) main character (MC).

Part of the appeal of an isekai anime is seeing the main character slowly build their power up in an unknown world. However, there are some isekai anime where the main character is insanely strong from the start and destroy their opponents easily.

Summary:

Goblin Slayer’s deep hatred for goblins made him an expert on slaying goblins. Because he has dedicated much of his time to studying goblins so he can defeat him, he is very strong and OP.

The clever methods Goblin Slayer employs to kill the goblins make him very OP and make for an entertaining watch.

Character Summary:

Youjo Senki is one of my favorite isekai anime. The main reason is because of Tanya Degurechaff.

Tanya is ruthless on the battlefield and is immediately able to overpower her enemies with her wits, making her an extremely OP character.

What makes Youjo Senki stand out from other isekai anime is the military setting and the politics that surround the main events.

2. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

Summary:

Character Summary:

Rimuru Tempest is one of the best characters in an isekai anime. He is fun, lovable and a slime.

Despite being a slime, which is suppose to be a low level monster in a fantasy world, Rimuru is extremely OP because of his ability to take people’s powers.

Throughout the series, he is able to easily defeat his enemies because he accumulates so many powers from monsters and humans.

Summary:

In order to escape Aincrad, Kirito will now have to interact and cooperate with his fellow players. Character Summary:

Sword Art Online is one of the most popular anime today and the most successful isekai anime ever. The success of Sword Art Online influenced or spawned the release of the other isekai anime on this list.

One of the main appeals of Sword Art Online is the main character, Kirito. He is often referred to as Gary Stu because he is TOO good at everything.

Kirito does not struggle much and is able to easily overcome all his enemies. He is the ultimate OP character.
